• Centreville Wharf : located on Watson Road, is operated by the Town of Centreville. The wharf complex includes: a soft launch, for non-motorized vessels like kayaks and canoes, boat slips, fishing area, playground equipment, picnic tables and a parking lot for cars only.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources and Queen Anne’s County have created a water trails map and guide to lead paddlers along six separate water trail routes in the Kent Island area of Queen Anne’s County

South Island Trail

This trail begins at Matapeake State Park and ends at Romancoke Pier, offering an off-road route for bicyclists, walkers and runners from the Chesapeake Bay to Eastern Bay

This ride features our gems and shows off the best of Kent Island. Remember that the trails can be crowded during peak usage, so this may not be the ride for you if the goal is speed.
