My name is Rudy, and I’m a mom to 4 small children

My name is Rudy, and I’m a mom to 4 small children and co-owner of Island Time Rentals, a family-owned party and inflatable rental business serving Kent Island and surrounding communities. Like so many moms, life feels beautifully busy these days. Between raising little ones, balancing a few different working roles, and staying involved in our community, our days stay full, but we genuinely love being part of this season of life.

My husband and I are both very driven people, and we’ve always believed in working hard and building a life we’re proud of for our family. We’ve learned that meaningful things usually aren’t built overnight. They happen in the middle of ordinary days, late nights, busy schedules, and a lot of teamwork.

Island Time Rentals started as an idea that sat in the planning stages for over a year before we finally decided to take the leap. We wanted to create something of our own while building a business centered around family, celebration, and community. Watching something go from an idea to something real has been incredibly rewarding, and one of the best parts has been connecting with other local families and small businesses throughout the Eastern Shore. The support we’ve received from this community has meant so much to us.

When I’m not working… honestly, I’m usually still working on something. I genuinely love learning and enjoy teaching myself new things. I recently completed my master’s degree in data analytics and have lately been diving into website building and SEO. You can usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand, and if I had to pick my favorite place, it would be a Florida beach. There’s just something about it that feels like a reset button.

We’re still growing and learning every day, but our goal has always stayed simple: to create something meaningful for our family while helping make celebrations easier and more memorable for other families too.
